Eugene SamsonovThe best ESP32 terminal!This is easily the best available ESP32 terminal! It comes with a dedicated hardware USB-Serial chip as well as the built-in level shifters (3.3V-5V) for UART, I2C and D1 lines. Very easy to integrate with all kinds of custom circuitry. I hope Elecrow will NOT discontinue this model in favor of their "Advanced" product line. The only minor negative is that all the connectors are oriented sideways instead of facing downwards as would have been more convenient for integration into custom enclosures. This is now my go-to terminal for all kinds of custom devices.

Milan SoučekEbus with caseI bought it with a case that cracked right away and a clip got chipped away, but anyways with shipping it cost me around 30 bucks a bit on the expensive side, took 2 weeks to deliver. This looks good but haven't tested it yet I'll update you on it. Hope that the case can be refunded but overall good ig.

Bradley BroermanCrowPanel 1.28" ESP32This is a very nice little panel, specifically if you are building a USB charging wrist watch. It's perfect for that particular job. If you are doing anything else, not so much. Instead of having any exposed GPIO lines on the board, it has a pushbutton on the top left corner, and a super-small rotary encoder. To be useful in other types of projects, it would have been nice to have a QiiC connector where that switch is so you can use 2 GPIOs for other things, or as an I2C line. This model didn't have an LED on the charge indicator, so I can't see if it's charging the battery or not. Having either an LED there, or the ability to read that line from a GPIO on the ESP32 would be great. My only other real comment would be that it would be nice to have the LED backlight for the display controlled by an analog output from the ESP32 instead of a digital line from the GPIO extender. I have a similar board from another manufacturer with this and it is a very nice capability.

When upgrading the firmware, make sure you do it when connected either via USB or LAN. Upgrading when connected via WiFi failed for me twice and was slow. No other issues to report since. Elecrow was communicative, finished the boards quickly, and packed them well in shipping. There was even an ambiguity in the orientation of a through-hole part, and they fixed that quickly. Also, the silkscreens are much better quality than other board houses I've used; in the past even when I've met the design constraints on silkscreens at these places I've gotten boards back that are missing entire silkscreens.
